SEA12 Worm Gear Slewing Drive System: A Highly Integrated Transmission Solution
The SEA12 slewing drive utilizes a slewing bearing as the driven transmission component and structural attachment point. By mounting the driving element, power source, and housing onto either the inner or outer ring, and using the opposing ring as the driven transmission component and connection base, it integrates slewing, reduction, and driving functions into a single unit. In terms of load-bearing capacity, the worm gear configuration outperforms gear-type drives. It is suitable for heavy-duty engineering equipment, such as excavators and cranes, leveraging its self-locking feature to prevent boom collapse in the event of hydraulic failure. The enveloping worm design also withstands impact loads.
