A slewing drive is typically composed of components such as a worm gear, slewing bearing, housing, and motor. Thanks to its core component—the slewing bearing—it can simultaneously withstand axial loads, radial loads, and overturning moments.
While there are many variations of slewing drives, their fundamental structures are largely similar.
The components from left to right (upper section) are:
Outer Ring (with or without gear teeth),Sealing Strip,Rolling Elements (balls or rollers),Grease Fitting

Plug,Plug Pin,Inner Ring (with or without gear teeth),Spacer or Cage,Mounting Holes (tapped holes or plain holes)

The SEA17 slewing drive is larger than the SEA14 model. Its axial load capacity, radial load capacity, and overturning moment capacity are approximately twice that of the SEA14. It is suitable for heavy-duty machinery such as cranes and excavators.
